For bike tour operators
Software for companies that run bike tours
A bike tour brings a lot together: riders, measurements, support bikes, partners who send customers, and the same fleet you also rent out every day. Rentaloop was born in a high-end bike rental in Piedmont, Italy, that also runs tours, and it keeps all of that in one place.
Rider sign-up by link
Every tour and every group has its own link. Riders sign up on their own, in their language, and pick bike type, size and extras right away. If the list comes from an agency, you import the spreadsheet in one go.
- A sign-up link per tour and per group, with the group price already applied
- Rider list import from a spreadsheet
- Rider measurements requested by link, with an email reminder for anyone who hasn't sent them
- Extras per rider: pedals, GPS, helmet, insurance
The right bike for every rider
With measurements on file, your team picks the bike and size for each rider and sees at once what is free on the tour dates. No side spreadsheet: the same fleet serves the tour and walk-in rentals, with no double bookings.
- Availability by type, size and dates
- Support bikes for the guide and spares, which take up fleet without counting as riders
- Bike swaps redo the checklist, so damage never lands on the wrong bike
Paperless check-out and return
On the day, check-out and return checklists are done on a phone, with a bike diagram to mark scratches and damage. The rental agreement is signed on screen. With a big group, check-out and return are recorded in bulk.
Partners, agencies and the shop network
Agencies and hotels that send you customers get their own portal to register their riders. Seller and partner commissions are worked out at the end of the month. And if a group needs more bikes than you have, you ask the other shops in the network who can lend some.
Tours and rentals in one system
On days without a tour, the same fleet is on online booking and at the counter. Rentaloop shows what each bike earned, what it cost in maintenance and when it pays for itself.
The Rental + Tours plan starts at €99 a month, with no commission on what you take.
Questions
- Do riders need to create an account?
- No. They sign up from the tour link, with no password. Afterwards they get a personal link by email to fill in any missing measurements and details.
- Does it work for groups from foreign agencies?
- Yes. The system, the sign-up page and the emails are in English, Italian, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese, and each rider sees them in their own language.
- Are the tour fleet and the rental fleet kept apart?
- They don't need to be. There is one fleet: whatever a tour takes disappears from online booking on those dates, and whatever the tour doesn't use stays free to rent.
