Rentaloop or Booqable: which one fits your bike rental?

Where Booqable is stronger
- It works for anything you rent, not just bikes
- A website builder with an online store, as a paid add-on
- Barcode scanning and a counter app (POS), as paid add-ons per user
- Many payment providers: Stripe, PayPal, Square, Adyen, Mollie and more
- Multiple locations on the Scale plan, and delivery to the customer's address
Where Rentaloop is stronger
- Check-out and return checklists on a bike diagram, to mark every scratch
- A rider measurements record, requested by link before pick-up
- Cost and return for each bike including maintenance, not just the purchase price
- Tours and groups with sign-up by link, support bikes and a partner portal
- A booking page in six languages the customer picks from, plus a button for your website
- On-screen contract signing, team roles and unlimited users on every plan
What it costs in practice
A rental shop with three staff and on-screen contract signing needs Booqable's Grow plan: €87 a month, or €69 billed yearly. With Rentaloop, up to 20 bikes, it's €49 a month, or about €41 on the yearly plan, for the whole team and with no feature locked in a higher plan.
If your shop rents many kinds of equipment, sells online through its own website or needs a counter app with barcodes, Booqable is the better fit. If your business is bikes and bike tours, Rentaloop was built for exactly that.
Questions
- Can I move from Booqable to Rentaloop?
- Yes. Your fleet comes into Rentaloop from a spreadsheet, with serial number, model, size and purchase value, and we help with the rest of the data during setup.
- Does Rentaloop have an online store?
- It has the booking page, with free bikes, prices and a card deposit, plus the button for your website. There is no website builder: the idea is to bring booking into the site you already have.
- Does either one charge a commission?
- Neither charges a commission on bookings paid through Stripe. On Booqable, PayPal and Mollie payments carry a 0.25% to 0.5% fee, depending on the plan.
